US Firmware: larger HDD support hack

This hacked firmware is for use in the US only, click here to find hacked firmware for other regions

There is a thread about this hack and how it was tested in an LVW-5026 on the Digital Video Forum

The latest standard firmware for most models is available from the Lite-On website

Revision 2 Hacked Firmware: The revised maximum disk capacity is now at least 541,165,879,296 bytes but not more than 549,755,813,376 bytes. Higher capacity drives may be fitted without problems BUT any space above the revised maximum capacity will not be used. MV Disable and DVD Region-Free hacks are also included in this revision of the hacked firmware. Please check the "readme" after downloading/unpacking the zipfile for more information.
